Chanel College is a community of faith and the many celebrations shared within the College community are central to this faith.
Each week, Mass is organised and coordinated by a different Religious Education class during Thursday lunch times in the College Chapel. Community members are welcome to attend.
Each year the College has a theme.
In 2015, this theme is "Hearts to Love, Hands to Serve"
Mass is also celebrated on significant college occasions such as: Opening Mass, Chanel Day, Graduation and the Thanksgiving Mass for the end of the year.
The College also organises and participates in Mass at our Parish Church, Star of the Sea one Sunday evening each term.
Other significant liturgies include Easter, when students re-enact the passion of Jesus, ANZAC Day, NAIDOC Week and Catholic Education Week.
All of these celebrations remind us of what it is to be a member of Chanel College, a just, loving community.
