All students are encouraged to participate actively in sporting activities and Physical Education lessons. Weekly Physical Education lessons focus on the development of movement skills through highly engaging and active learning experiences. Annual sporting events are held including track and field events, ballgames, swimming carnival, cross country and fun run. Each student is assigned a sport house for their time at St Anthony’s.

- Gandara Eagles – Gold
- Gakari Crocs – Green
There are many opportunities for students to participate in a wide range of sports throughout the year. Interschool sport is available to Years 5 and 6 in the second and third terms with a choice of netball, rugby league, tennis and hockey. Students aged 10 years and older compete in local and regional competitions to represent our school. Sports include swimming, AFL, Track and Field, Cricket, Netball, Rugby League, Basketball, Hockey, Soccer and many more.
