Expressions of interest are now being taken for Pre-Prep in 2016

St Brendan's is a co-educational primary school offering Catholic education for children in the Northern Beaches of Mackay. Officially opened in 2015, our school has continued to grow annually to have two classes in each year level.

We offer a holistic approach to schooling where children, in partnership with their parents, are nurtured, valued, respected and encouraged to reach their potential.

Our school motto 'Finding God in all Things' challenges students to respect others, value the world around us and to offer their talents to the community.

We offer:
~ State of the art facilities
~ Quality educational experiences
~ Dedicated teachers
~ Before School, After School and Holiday Care
~ Pre-Prep Education- accredited Kindgergarten Program

We warmly welcome you to visit our school, tour our facilities and experience what we can offer your family.

Today we say goodbye to Fr Johnson who will be returning to live in India. He has been our school priest for the past three years and has been a part of many celebrations in our short life at St Brendan’s. Fr Johnson says how he loves to come and celebrate with the students of St Brendan’s because of their enthusiasm in singing and participation during Mass.  As we farewell Fr Johnson we welcome Fr Shaiju.

On Monday 19th March our School Captains were invited to attend the Queens Baton Relay on behalf of  St Brendan's. This was the starting point for the Mackay relay. We were able to meet and hear interviews from 10 of the Mackay representatives, one who was Linda Mackenzie (an Australian swimming team Gold Medalist).

On Monday 19th March Students from St Brendan's particated in the 26th Regional Choral Festival at the MECC. These students did a fantastic job with the great help of St Brendan's Music teacher Mrs Kathryn Woodruff.

Thank you parents and students for supporting our CARITAS Project Compassion fundraising in Term 1... watch this space for our fundraising total. The students exhibited a great sense of fun and a spirit of generosity and compassion for those less fortunate than ourselves.
