“Protecting Children is Everybody’s Business - Play Your Part”
At St Francis Xavier, keeping children safe is a priority. We educate the students on matters of cyber-safety, who to go to if your personal safety is threatened and through the support of our brilliant adopt-a-cop, Sgt Helen. There are posters in learning areas identifying the Student Protection Officers. I also speak with the students at the beginning of the year about personal safety when it comes to physical, emotional, sexual or cyber abuse.
Below are links to a number of resources for your perusal on child protection. These documents are also in the school office. I would urge parents to take time to discuss this issue with the children.
