A Message from the Principal

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Wandal, is a co-educational learning community which caters for students from Prep – Year Six.

As a Catholic school, St Joseph’s Wandal is an integral part of the Parish of Rockhampton South. Our philosophy is centred on the teachings of Jesus Christ and Catholic values underpin all aspects of our school life. We have a long tradition of providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where we endeavour to foster a passion for lifelong learning whilst meeting the learning needs of our students in the 21st century.

St Joseph’s Wandal is supported by the extensive resources of the Diocesan Catholic Education Office in providing a comprehensive curriculum which emphasises the academic, social, physical, spiritual and emotional development of your child whilst, at all times recognising their uniqueness.

Our staff recognises that parents are the first and foremost educators of their children and we welcome your active involvement and participation in the life of our school. We believe that home and school must work cooperatively to develop in each child, a sense of respect and responsibility towards themselves, other people and the environment.
